RADIKAL![2025] is an exhibition focusing on women artists of the 1910-1950s. Curated by Stepahie Auer and on display in Belvedere Museum in Vienna.

 

Together with an amazing graphic designers duo Marie Artaker and Alexandra Möllner, we were responsible for the exhibition design.

 

Our objective was to use design elements associated with modernist, 'universal' structures subversively. Instead of attempting to fit all the different personalities into an uniform grid system, we derived all the dimensions from individual artworks themselves, intersecting in space and thus generating mutual support. 

Within this logic we developed architectural elements purposefully blurring the boudaries between 'art' and 'life', sometimes hosting an artwork together with a bench for the audience and a place to study the exhibition catalogue.
